A few things you
may want to know.

DetailMetrik is built for independent detailing businesses that want to keep customers, vehicles, quotes, scheduled work, and invoices together. Core is a workspace for the business owner. Shared team access and permissions are not currently available.

Core includes customer and vehicle records, a service catalog, quoting with Profit Guard, scheduling, invoices and payment records, follow-up tasks, reports, and recorded job results. Visit Features for a detailed explanation of each area.

You can explore the sample workspace without creating an account. The demo uses sample records so you can look around before choosing a plan. It is separate from a paid workspace and is not a free trial subscription.

DetailMetrik runs in a web browser and includes layouts for smaller screens. Quick quote offers a shorter way to prepare a draft while on site, including a vehicle photo. You need an internet connection to load and save workspace records.

Core is $30 USD per month, billed monthly through Square. The subscription renews monthly until canceled. Review the plan and checkout details before subscribing.

Open Settings → Plan & workspace and choose Cancel subscription. Review the displayed end date before confirming. Verified paid access continues through the paid-through date shown in your account. Canceling the subscription does not delete your saved records. If you can’t access your account or have a charge question, contact us.

Core is the plan currently available to purchase. Pro, Team, and Enterprise cannot be activated yet. Only buy a plan based on the capabilities available today; contact us if your business has requirements beyond Core.

Customer invoice pages can offer hosted Square checkout after your business’s Square connection and payment setup are verified. You can also record payments received outside that checkout. Connected payments and manually recorded payments remain distinct. Paying your DetailMetrik subscription does not connect your business’s payment account automatically.

It subtracts included labor and job costs from the selling price before tax, then calculates estimated profit, margin, and profit per labor hour. It compares those figures with your configured targets. Overhead, payment-processing fees, and income taxes are excluded. The estimate depends on your inputs; it is not a guarantee of profit or take-home pay.

The customer-facing quote presents the service, customer-facing notes, pricing, and applicable terms. Internal cost inputs and Profit Guard calculations stay in your workspace. Preview the customer-facing quote before sharing it.

Core includes follow-up tasks, message templates, and communication history. It does not provide automated SMS follow-up campaigns. Preparing a message is not the same as sending it: review the message and use the available delivery method, or send through your own email service and record that contact.

Settings → Plan & workspace includes workspace backup and account controls. Reports also offer CSV exports. A JSON backup contains workspace records but not the vehicle-photo files themselves. For questions about data access or deletion, contact us using your account email.
